Lowered automatic barrier at a car park entrance with a car waiting

The problem it solves

Remote controls get copied and lost, and keep working after someone leaves the company or sells their space. Vehicle access control identifies every entry (by number plate, card, phone or registered remote), lets you cancel one credential without touching the rest, and logs who came in and when.

Who it is for

  • Company car parks with spaces for staff, visitors and suppliers.
  • Residential communities with a shared garage (options and the agreement required).
  • Hotel, clinic and retail car parks that want to control spaces and occupancy.
  • Industrial sites with lorry traffic and haulier control.

What the service includes

  1. Choosing the closure: arm barrier, or an existing door or gate. Compared in parking barriers.
  2. Choosing identification: number plate recognition, long-range card, phone or registered remote (how ANPR works).
  3. Installation of the barrier, cameras, induction loops, photocells and traffic lights, including groundwork.
  4. Software for authorised vehicle lists, visitors, schedules and space counting.

What we always check

  • Safety in use. A barrier is a machine: it needs CE marking, protective devices and maintenance as the manufacturer specifies.
  • Camera position. Angle, distance and lighting decide whether plate reading is reliable.
  • Data protection. A number plate linked to a person is personal data: people must be informed, retention limited and, in residential communities, the owners' meeting must approve it (cameras and access control).
  • Plan B. What happens with a dirty plate, a courtesy car or a power cut.

What drives the price

The number of lanes, the type of barrier and its duty cycle, groundwork (trenches, bases, loops), the identification system and software licences.

How we work

  1. You tell us about your case by phone, email or the form.
  2. We survey the site: doors, entrances, electrical boards and network.
  3. We deliver a written, itemised proposal.
  4. We install, configure and train whoever manages it.
  5. We hand over documentation and administrator credentials.

Frequently asked questions

Is number plate recognition reliable?

Properly installed, yes, but never one hundred per cent: camera angle, speed, dirty plates and light all matter. That is why a fallback (card, phone or intercom) is always planned.

Does it read UK and other foreign plates?

Most current ANPR engines read European plate formats, UK included, but accuracy by country depends on the camera and software. Tell us which plates are common on your site so it can be checked before buying.

Does a residential community need a vote to install plate cameras?

Yes. The Spanish data protection authority states that cameras in shared areas require an agreement of the owners' meeting, plus information signs and limits on what is recorded.
